Hosts become unbearable
I made it to episode 4 and just couldn’t hang in any longer. The hosts are completely stilted (the guy is laughable) and scripted. Unfortunately, the scripts they are obviously reading are terrible. If you’re 7 years old and never heard of true crime, then this is about your speed. Otherwise, you’re going to spend half of the episode rolling your eyes at why the hosts are asking such basic questions. I’d recommend skipping this one. If it’s ranking well, it’s just because Audiochuck is advertising it on their successful shows - not because it’s good.

More reviews of Strangeland
Great story, great reporting and great chemistry from the hosts. Really enjoyed all episodes. Sound editing and music are also very high quality. Looking forward for following seasons. Thanks a lot!

I personally enjoyed the show and the only issue I have is a ton of audio errors where certain things repeat themselves and then I bet these weird skips in some episodes. Made me almost feel like I missed some things that I would’ve liked to finish hearing.

The male “narrator” sounds unrehearsed as if just reading his lines for the first time. Because of the girl’s voice I still listened to all of the episodes. Ditch this guy, find a new host.
