A great listen!
Alright — here’s the deal: this may be my favorite seasonal audiochuck show. Counterclock is alright but the host’s voice is kinda monotone. I was afraid Ben was going to be like that at first but as the episodes went on it got better. In the beginning I thought Ben could’ve raised his tone a bit, sometimes it sounded like Sharon was speaking at a higher volume than him and he wasn’t meeting her at that level. I LOVED SHARON! She was great. Also, that police guy they had on was so great and taught me more about interrogations than all of the Anatomy of Murder podcast episodes. May have to unsubscribe there cause they aren’t giving me this quality information like the difference between an interrogation and an interview. I also really enjoyed how they described the interview tapes here, they DEFINITELY don’t do that in Anatomy of Murder. Comparisons to other shows aside, I can’t wait for a season 2!

I absolutely love it.

Strong story. Ben’s commentary is at once weirdly dispassionate and antagonistic. Tone matters.

Why does Ben sound like he is just hitting puberty? If you can get past his voice then this is a decent podcast.
