More of the same
Every network is jumping on this true-crime bandwagon, and in this case, Earwolf needed to try a little harder. There's nothing unique or groundbreaking about the storytelling style or reporting. It already seems clear the rehashing here isn't going to break new ground or reveal new evidence. Serial, In the Dark, etc. actually approached their missions as reporting projects. I am hooked - completely addicted after the first episode. Reminds me of the tone and style of the first season of Serial, which I also found addictive.
