Not Always Applicable
I’m not sure who this podcast is really for at this point. Great topics but the solutions don’t really apply to normal working class people. Cant afford childcare? Have your parents pay off your debt. Cant afford a house in Toronto as a 6-figure pro hockey player? Just go to the east coast and push someone else out the way you pushed out of Toronto. Explore how a tik tok influencer didn’t want a wedding and instead had her parents leverage a house for them. The stories are more and more completely unrelatable to normal people but I have gotten some good advice like automate your savings etc. Maybe that’s the point though. When the housing market and thus, generational wealth, has become so out of reach for people who don’t already come from said generational wealth there really is no real advice to give at this point. Find good rent and pray you don’t get evicted.

Love the concept of this show! Halfway through listening to this show I realized I’ve listened to Ben Felix before. Any chance you’ll talk more about the FIRE movement more?
