We continue with John's testimony of what he saw and experienced as a follower of Messiah. John introduced us to the Word, tells us that the Word was Elohim, the Word was in the beginning, and then John tells us that the Word manifested itself in the human form of the Messiah Yeshua.
John indicates, by capitalizing the word “Prophet”, that Yeshua is the Prophet that Elohim spoke about to Moses.
In this last portion of Chapter 7, the Pharisees and Chief Priests sent officers to arrest Yeshua. However, the officers made a judgment call not to arrest Him. When questioned by the religious rulers, the officers said, “Never man spake like this man”.
