“I was in an abusive relationship it went both ways, which resulted in a baby girl after my daughter was born I tried to stop the fighting during one fight I ended up with a black eye and cracked sinus wall. The best adivise I recieved was when I was crying to my mom "what do I do?" And my mom pointed to my daughter and told me "You are a mom now what would you tell her?" That was just what I needed to hear I couldnt pitcure my daughter being treated like that I left him for good that day he sent flowers and theatened suicide but I kept that pitchure of my black eye and thought of someone doing that to my daughter... and am now married to a wonderful husband (who I was proud to take his last name) when things start to go towards a fight he tells me "come here give me a hug and lets remember we love eachother" how can you fight after that? we are a middle class family but I feel like the richest woman in the world we have 2daughters he treats them both equally the nonbio daughter acts more like him than the bio daughter I love your podcast keep it up thankyou for your time Jackie”Read full review »
