Stopped listening because they let their bias steer the show a lot.

Josh and Chuck do a great job explaining in understandable terms the ins and outs of a wide variety of topics. I love their humor and bantering back and forth. There is only one thing I don’t like about the show. They often have shows where they teach evolution as fact and mock creation. There is...Read full review »

I didn’t like podcasts for a long time. As a high school English teacher, I heard coworkers talk about loving podcasts and incorporating them into their lessons, but I just couldn’t get into one. Enter Stuff You Should Know. For the last 3 years, Josh and Chuck have kept me company through...Read full review »

These guys pump out a lot of content. I used to listen to every new episode, but then I listened less when they went to two ads per ad break, and now that they’ve hit 4, I hardly listen at all anymore.

I listen to this on ride trips, the gym ECT. I’ve learned more in 1 podcast than I could in class.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really enjoy this show. I love how random some of the topics are and generally enjoy the banter between them. However, personal views are really starting to erk me. Why do we need to hear your personal political views Chuck?

This podcast is amazing, and continues to only get better. The two hosts are kind, caring, intelligent, and interesting. Josh and chuck always share both sides of any topic and constantly maintain a positive perspective that a lot of people in this country need to hear. Stuff you should know is...Read full review »

I accidentally turned SYSK on my car radio while making it home on a painfully slow traffic day in Portland Oregon.. Oh my goodness! They were hysterical - all about TWINKIES! Who knew?? I have been an avid listener since- These fellas provide information

I have been an avid podcast listener for years and how I only discovered yours today is beyond me. Listening to episode Halloween 2021… the second story and the accents … I couldn’t stop laughing !!!!! So excited I can now binge this for the next month!!!!

Perhaps I’m alone in this, but it takes wayyy too long to get to the topic, then a lot of little chatty jokey diversions which to me are very annoying, as someone that listens to hear about the topic. Example being the hoarding episode. I wanted to hear about the hoarding but they spent a...Read full review »

Some episodes are good some are boring. You can tell an episode is going to be boring when the hosts stall for 10 minutes talking about nonsense before they mention the topic. Hit or miss.

Been listening since the show began more than 10 years ago. Josh and Chuck introduced me to podcasts, and they will always be my go to podcast. Give them a chance and get to know them. I hope they can be your podcast buddies as well. Live shows are even better.

A good show to listen to. The topics are interesting, and even though they go on a few “tangents” they are quicker to return to the topic than some other shows I’ve heard. They both definitely lean to the left and don’t hide their opinions about things. However, I don’t think there’s any problem...Read full review »

“Stuff you should know” sounds like a fairly banal, standard name for a podcast, but it pretty much sums it up. Every episode is about stuff about which I’ve thought “gee, I should really know a bit about that” - enter Josh and Chuck, filling that void in lighthearted, well informed style! Thanks...Read full review »

I used to listen to every episode but had to stop due to Chuck’s clear political views / agenda. Josh seems to do his best to maintain a respective delivery to an intelligent audience but Chuck’s insulting message ruins most episodes. Unfortunate.

I was a multiple year listener of this podcast, and very much enjoyed the content. However, as of late they have brought their far-left bias in to dominate. Enjoyable until the recent villianization of even a moderate point of view. One less subscriber, I do regret to say.

I stopped listening a year ago because of the bias political overtone of Josh and Chuck. Some episodes are entertaining and informative. Others lean on a heavy political bias with the hosts’ opinions being weighted as heavily as facts and research. Definitely not the whole story or final word, but a good springboard to spur interest in a variety of topics

Josh and Chuck do a great job delivering exactly what they promise: well researched, broad overviews of random things. It’s sad that many of their recent bad reviews seem to stem from the politicization of basic scientific facts. As an MD I sometimes notice their medical episodes can have...Read full review »

I understand ads are necessary, but they used to only be 1 minute long and now they’re like 3-3.5 minutes long. Super excessive. There is some clear bias as many have mentioned but eh, what can you do? Overall, it’s still entertaining and informative.
