Excellent
I’ve been looking forward and counting days when I can listen to this again. It’s cathartic if you know people who’ve been incarcerated. In a lot of media about incarcerated people, even when the media is meant to inspire empathy, the incarcerated are always ultimately labeled as guilty, when in reality many people are in prison for crimes they didn't commit or have harsh sentences for superficial reasons. Appreciate that this podcast is generous in its exploration of guilt and innocence. Can sometimes feel a little bit caught up in respectability politics, but I appreciate that they represent Suave with dignity and a touch of humor. 5 stars.Read full review »
