While I don’t foresee a journey to Oman in my near future, I do have a thirst to learn about the world around me—and this podcast surely provides a means of quenching that thirst. Michael is easy to listen to, opens my eyes to a culture different to mine, and is done in a professional manner. It...Read full review »

The series is well worth listening to if you are thinking of visiting Oman as it gives you the insights in advance to get the most out of your trip. There isn't a lot of literature on visiting Oman compared to some other places in the Middle East such as Dubai, so it's good to hear from those...Read full review »

Sitting in cloudy, cold northern England, it is remarkable how this articulate and cheerful young man can transport me to another world, a strange world, yet one made at least partly comprehensible by the enthusiasm and obvious affection that D Michael has for his adopted home. He is a very good...Read full review »

I live in this wonderful country and D. Michael's insights are spot on. I hope these podcasts spread far and wide especially to Europe and the US. Westerners need to see another side of the Arab people and Muslim countries like Oman who is warm and welcoming to expats like me. Can't wait for the...Read full review »

Being very familiar with Oman myself, I always wonder how other people explain the beauty of Oman to other people. D. Micheal found a great way of doing so. In an entertaining way he touches upon a lot of the things that makes Oman so unique. Without being a teacher (which he actually seems to...Read full review »
