Shane van Gisbergen won his first Xfinity Series race on the weekend in Portland, a week before Cam Waters and Will Brown join him as Cup Series drivers. The NASCAR racing was typically entertaining too. Esteban Ocon has been fired, but will young Aussie Jack Doohan get the job next year? Jack Miller lost his KTM factory ride for the 2025 season to Peda Acosta, but Miller remains confident of securing a competitive ride, likely with Tech3. Meanwhile, Francesco Bagnaia secured his third...

On this edition of the Auto Action Rev Limiter, we debrief a massive weekend of Motorsport; we certainly had some massive nights down under. Josef Newgarden won the Indy 500 with a last-lap pass, Christopher Bell won the big NASCAR race, and Charles Le Clerc won a typical Monaco Grand Prix... it may have the glamour, but it doesn't race well. Andrew, Bruce and PG talk about all that and more... like Aussie's winning in F4 and GT3 races and standing on the podium in F2. And then there's the...

It was a big motorsport weekend, that's for sure. Ford broke its duck with a pair of wins in Perth, one each for Chaz Mostert and Cam Waters, and we do a deep dive into what happened. Max Verstappen had another win, but he is now actually having to work for them as the McLarens close in. Then there was qualifying for the Indy 500 and a Penske lockout of the front row, with Scotty Mac the fastest driver ever at the biggest sporting venue in the world. Will Power is second and Joesf...

The Miami F1 Grand Prix finally turned it on, and for the first time this year Max Verstappen was beaten on the track. McLaren launched the attack, first with Oscar Piastri and then by Lando Norris who had a bit more luck with the Safety Cars. He pulled away for a maiden win. We have plenty of F1 talk and a little bit of Supercars, F4 and New Zealand. And don't forget to check out autoaction.com.au

Then, in Supercars, where will they go and will they go often enough in 2025 - inside the calendar with details that only we are talking about. And the Erebus sales rumours won't go away, but did we miss the clues last year? And what about a Peterwit - can he find the money to make an offer? Plus, NASCAR, IndyCar, WEC,...

We're back from our weekend in Taupo (Tow Paw), and what an unbelievable first weekend for that venue. It was, we felt, the start of this season, too, despite it being the third round. Andrew and Bruce were there, and PG was on the couch. Brodie Kostecki was back for Erebus, Andre Heimgartner won for Brad Jones Racing, and Will Brown battled his teammate Broc Feeney for the other win. Anton De Pasquale also won the Jason Richards Trophy for the best performer over the two races - is Dick...

After a break that feels like months, the Supercars Championship is back and headed across the ditch to Taupo in the middle of the North Island. And yes, Brodie Kostecki will be there! As will the rain. Somehow, the rain will also be in China for F1's return to 中国. Philip Island was stunning on the weekend, just gone, if a little cold, but we chatted about whether Supercars should return to the land of penguins. Plus, there's more... all the news in the way only the Auto Action RevLimiter...

Brodie Kostecki is back! The 2023 Champion has cured his ills with Erebus Motorsport and will be back in the Supercars Championship for Taupo next week. Our fearless crew gets deep into the mire and steps around the Peterwits to discuss what it means for the sport and what it has meant. We chat about the passing of Bev Brock, an icon of the Australian motorsport scene whose loss will be felt by many. Then we talk about the return of boredom to F1 and refuse to talk about the team that won....

This week we had to work hard for Supercar News, but we found some. It was easier in Speedway with the Easter Trail and the new speedway opening at Eastern Creek. Liberty Media has bought MotoGP, there was the Bathurst 6-Hour, the World Rally Championship in Kenya and, of course, a NASCAR wrap-up with drivers throwing broken bumpers at rivals. We talk about why Formula E is boring and irrelevant, and then ramble our way through the latest F1 news... where should Carlos Sainz go?  Don't...

The Auto Action Rev Limiter debriefs the Australian Grand Prix, Andrew and Bruce from trackside and PG from the couch... and all three were excited that Max Verstappen didn't win and that Carlos Sainz. Oscar Piastri nearly pulled off a podium and he clearly won the merchandise sales battle with everyone else. The Supercars raced without pitstops and it was good. Will Brown won the weekend and the Mustangs found new ways to hit each other. There's more too... Shane van Gisbergen and NASCAR,...

It is Australian Grand Prix, and our fearless trio put it all the line trying to work out if Oscar Piastri can beat Max,  and what will the Supercars do without fans at the track on Thursday twilight or in the paddock. Plus we look at the Boardroom stoush at RACE, the owners of Supercars. Then there's Race Tasmania, the dummy spit, and the $10,000 prize to an Excel racer. And F1 on the streets of Adelaide.

F1 was another snoozefest, but everywhere else the action was hot. In stifling heat the Phillip Island Classic produced some of the most stunning old racers this country and New Zealand have to offer and the racing was good too, a lot of them now go to Adelaide this weekend. PG thought the NASCARs were racing in a car park they were using so much of the verge, and Filipe Massa has decided to spend a lot of money on lawyers to try and overturn the 2008 World Championship. And then we look at...

Hooray, F1 is back. Boo, Max Verstappen wins. The Bahrain Grand Prix was a little underwhelming, but at least there was racing... and scandal. There was plenty of scandel, but we don't do that stuff apparently, so we don't talk about Red Bull Racing, Christian Horner and noted female rights activist Jos Verstappen.  But we do talk Supercars, and there might not have been racing but there was plenty happening. The IndyCar Championship starts this weekend, and we look at whether Scott...

Like a debrief of the first round of the Supercars Championship from Bathurst, plus we look at Super2 and wonder how six racing laps is worth 300 points, Touring Car Masters and the journey back to prominence, NASCAR, or more specifically Shane van Gisbergen, and a little motor racing series called Formula One.
