Very informative and useful
Kirill does weekly two podcasts: five minute Friday and an interview during the week. I really look forward to both his podcasts. In five minute Friday, he distills some basic concepts, which can be technical or a lifestyle enhancement one. In another long format he often interviews a subject matter expert. I started listening to his podcasts only 2 months back, but I have been doing that in a binge mode and gone back and covered almost the last 8 months of podcasts. 5 minute life enhancing techniques are super practical and can be immediately implemented. The great thing about these interviews with experts is that Kirill often explains the answer from experts in his own words and that really helps in remembering and understanding the point. Also I love the way he summaries his favourite part of the episode at the end. Not all interviews are great, for example there were a couple of interviews of people who were enthusiasts but not subject matter experts. You could gain insights from their approach to data science but not learn anything technical here. His recent episode "Tell stories with data" is something that particularly useful for me. I particularly enjoyed where Cole is explaining how to structure the story and create the right tension in delivering the story. I shall be purchasing the book and giving it a try soon. Thank you Kirill and keep up the good work.Read full review »

I just wanted to thank you for being such a great mentor through your podcast. I can’t tell you how much it has benefited me and shaped my career. Your insights and advice have been invaluable, and I always look forward to each new episode.

I listened to the first 3 episodes. A common theme throughout attributes career success to extreme personal sacrifice (for example sleeping only 3 hours per night). Seems to be lacking female perspective. Too much "intro" describing what will be discussed during the podcast.Read full review »
