“Now by mature, I don't necessarily mean advanced in age, although there is certainly nothing wrong with that. Namely maturity in this case refers to the adult content of this show. There is a brief warning at the beginning to discourage the easily offended, they can continue at their own risk. I for one am not easily offended and find the humor both entertaining and at times side splitting. But this is not the only redeeming factor of the show--far from it. This show is an honest to Chuck review of Supernatural by fans for fans (as the logo states). A refreshing take on the show by three guys who came together through their love of the show and it's characters. They offer their detailed individual feedback on every episode, even providing a rating based on an A-F grading scale (A+ being the best ever and F- being the worst ever).
I only recently discovered the show after having an opportunity to meet Mike, Thomas and Ryan at the Salute to Supernatural Convention in Phoenix, AZ. Within days, I had started the show and put everything else on hold to listen to it non-stop at work and home. Just over a week later I had consumed over 60 hours of audio, 38 episodes total (an entire year's worth).
To say that I highly recommend the show is an understatement. It's fantastic. Well produced, professional while still being fun for the hosts and listeners alike. The guys have great chemistry and their passion for bringing forth great content about an equally great show is clearly evident. Just don't mention the Gamble-ized seasons 6 and 7, specifically Plucky Pennywhistle's Magical Menagerie.
So do yourself a favor and give the show a listen, you won't regret it.”Read full review »
