can't wait but please replace the writer
I've been waiting for a reaction podcast with cast and crew since the day I started watching this show. I love fandom podcasts reacting to the show and talking about it, and I can't wait to hear it from creatives' mouths. Listening to the trailer, I'm eagerly anticipating the first episode in three days. However, I feel like I have to bring up an issue: I know many SPN fans who will not listen to this if Jess Mason is involved in any way shape or form. Ask anyone who's been in the fandom long enough to remember her, but she has had a volatile past and had treated fans in a cruel way. She has belittled fans of the show, on all sides, and after the finale aired, compared some fans to racist, homophobic, dangerous QAnon conspiracy theorists in a Mary Sue article, and her book itself is factually incorrect at times. To a lot of us, this is her just trying to sell that book. I have been shown passages of it that had been clearly plagiarized. You ask any fan about their experience with her, and it was not good. In a lot of our opinions, she should not be in any way shape or form including in projects with this show. She has demonstrated time and time again how she actually just uses things for her own gain. Many fans, upon reading the news of this podcast, were initially very excited until they read that Jess was involved. She has insulted so many, offended many more, and does not deserve to be involved in this podcast. I want to listen to it so badly, I do, I love Kings of Con, I love Rob and Rich, and I want to hear this podcast sooooo bad — but knowing Jess is involved is a big turn off for me, and for many many /many/ others. I beg the production to reconsider having her involved in this podcast. There are better writers, better fans, to be involved with this and for Rob and Rich to work with. I, and many of the listening audience, are asking the Jess Mason be replaced by someone without such a rocky past with the show.Read full review »

Such a great opportunity to hear from the people, especially behind the scenes, who brought all these episodes to life.
