“Yea, this one doesn't really do it for me, I wanted to like it so badly. With Reply All, Startup, and Planet Money- I. don't. want. to. miss. a. beat. I'm always hitting the go back 15 seconds button with the other shows because everything is super interesting and I want to make sure I got it all. With SA, it's a lot of unnecessary banter, and I know they said that's what they want to go for... but why? It's not interesting and rarely funny. Which is unfortunate because the hosts are so talented and the gimlet team is so talented. This banter works for me between jad and rob in radiolab, but they cut it short and have real chemistry. This show could be cut down to a 12-15 min podcast easily.”Read full review »
