“We're only 2 episodes in, so I want to give this podcast a chance... but it's hard. The topics are truly boring, and I haven't seen much awesome yet. There has to be a hook, something that makes me want to listen, and it has to happen early in the episode. Instead it's sort of like, "here are some random facts that might change your mind about whether this thing is boring." In the Mold episode, they finally got there with family stories at the end--relatable, personable, making the show's hosts human. In Free Throws, it's a snooze fest start to finish.
