Delightful :)
I started listening to this podast because I thought: Hey, I love movies. And I love genre things, And I love women. Not only did this podcast meet my expectations for being an entertaining discussion on some of my favourite things, but it far exceeded them by also integrating excellent conversations about the films that April's interlocutor of the week helped to make, opening the audience to a really more nuanced understanding of film-making which they are sure to take with them into the films they later watch. I highly recommend; learn more about film, hear more about your favourites, and get ready to be introduced to some fantastic new faves.Read full review »

It’s a fabulous show, one that makes want to watch (or re-watch) the film at hand and check out the work by the filmmaker who is on. I teach a horror...Read full review »
