Too emotional and not enough science
What kind of medical/science based podcast doesn’t include scientific explanations of what’s happening and how it’s treated? This felt like a Lifetime movie focusing on the emotional battle instead of the actual symptoms, diagnosis, treatments, and explanations. Way too repetitive about how painful it felt or how resilient the person was.

I like the premise and the format. I like people talking about their experiences and the experts adding details. I find the events are impactful enough without the distracting intense music. Very minimal medical treatment information. Spends most of the time picking out faults with physicians/nurses and the health system as a whole.
