“I've been listening to TTC for a few weeks now, and I can affirm that they are one of my favorite podcasts around. The setting is intricate and engaging, and Sean does a great job RPing the NPCs. Both campaigns have diverse characters who are dynamic and compelling, as well as a cast full of great people behind them. If you are into combat, then there is certainly a decent amount in most episodes, and it's usually very well-described and interesting. Like I said before, the characters in both campaigns are fantastic, and their interactions with the world around them are consequential and often hilarious.
If you are a prospective viewer, I recommend starting at episode 50 which is the beginning of the second campaign, only because the first episode starts with characters already well acquainted and amidst a quest, and this way getting to know the characters feels a bit more natural.
Tabletop Champions is a great podcast, and I can't wait for more!”Read full review »

“This podcast should be required listening for any aspiring DM. It strikes the right balance of engaging storytelling and goofy banter. Also sometimes they get more actual adventuring done in a one hour episode than I do in a three hour session, so I'm kind of envious of their RPGing skills.”Read full review »
