Dishonest Criticism of Talmud
Today's podcast (Fri. 13 of March) either deliberately or mistakenly interpreted a portion of the Talmud, and then brazenly criticized the rabbis of the Talmud ("I'm sorry to have to disagree with Rav on this point") by arguing againt a position which they never held. The hubris shown in criticizing the rabe'im was only overshadowed by the ignorance of the hosts arguments. (Specifically, the Talmud was definig a dwelling too small by the height of it's walls (10 tefachim or 3.9 feet) and NOT by the square footage of the floor.)Read full review »

It’s exactly what I was looking for as I jump on head first, woefully unprepared for this Daf Yomi journey. It’s short enough to be manageable; it’s discussed it easily understandable language; and as a long time Unorthodox listener it’s nice to go through this journey with Liel.
