Stunning sound design
This is an actual play podcast with a difference. It has all the drama of a game, but without the toe-curling bits, because it's more like an audio-book with dice determining the results, than the usual radio-drama of voice actors playing up to the microphone. Jon, the narrator/ games-master, has a wonderful voice that captures the listeners' attention and the sound design really compels the story forward. He does a great job of keeping things gripping, defining the characters very distinctively and making sure that there is lots of adventure in each episode. It's so intense that I can feel my walking pace increase while I'm listening. Brilliant.Read full review »

This is — by far — the greatest old-school RPG podcast, or audio drama. I’m still listening to season one and it is truly fantastic! The audio quality is top notch, and episodes are of a very manageable length (rarely over a half hour). I truly can’t recommend this podcast highly enough.
