This podcast is well made but the creators can’t seem to keep their ideology out of the stories which ruins them. What’s worse is that it has the potential to be very dangerous should any minors be listening to some of the stories because that would most definitely qualify as grooming children....Read full review »

I love this show and have loved it since I first discovered it many many years ago. It has gone through many iterations and I look forward to the tales to come. Thanks to the team for all their hard work and dedication!

Been a listener for years and can say that this is one of the most consistently great podcasts out there. I consume a lot of short stories and audiobooks and always especially look forward to these. Thank you for sharing such awesome fiction with us!

The narrator sounds like AI. Very robotic and souless. Plus, too many ads.

at least they dont lie about using professional voice actors all similar podcasts say . but this lot still constantly politely demand free money let the bastards starve i say or learn real altruism.

The stories could be good, but the host is terrible. Weird pauses that do not make sense. It’s painfully awkward to listen to.

Some of the stories are just ok, and the information sections are a bit dull for me (I skip them), but occasionally there are some downright brilliant ones. The narration and stories of Martin Mundt in particular are some of the most fascinating, delightfully weird, inventive, and unsettling...Read full review »

Sub par most of the time and the introduction lasts forever. Just get to the story and get on with it.

Great stories .. stories that actually made sense !!! Especially the endings.. but to the narrator , if you know the wife of one of the writers but never met the husband how can you say they’re BOTH wonderful people ??🥴🥴🥴..

Love this podcast, excellent production quality, great variety of narrators and a massive catalog with some of the best stories and classics.

Podcasts i still listen to after a try out period of 5 episodes get 5 ⭐️. Because why should i listen to pods i don’t think are awsome? Pods i don’t keep listening to get no rewiews by me . A pod i don’t like might be loved by someone else . So why should a bad review from me maybe scare away...Read full review »

The stories are immersive and the audio quality is excellent. Tales to Terrify has a talented team of narrators that bring you right into the terror.

Nothing is treasured as being told a story as I rest my eyes, open my ears. Such variety in styles and words spun into a delightful fulfilling tingling for my brain. Most tales are a gourmet feast ! Keep up the fantastic creative juices flowing, I am hungry for more! Congratulations on years as a...Read full review »

This is a great way to hear new or obscure works voices in fiction. I am consistently riveted.

If you’re looking for “actual” creepy, and extremely well written stories then download this podcast!! Very minimal adds also, and they are easy to fast forward because they never interrupt a story. I love the host also, he just naturally has a creepy voice. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Very short and boring. This is not a great horror podcast.

As of today 5/12/2021 I am at episode 70 and have been listening for three weeks. Will keep you posted. I enjoy how you have the time stamps so I can skip when I need to. Enjoy the storytelling and dumbstruck that I know of some of the narrators before they joined some of my other favorite...Read full review »

I like to write when I have a moment, but it’s been a while since I’ve had time to really think about it. Tales to Terrify not only tells great stories, but gets my own twisted imagination going, too! It’s like the zombie apocalypse of story concepts! Now, where to begin...?

This is a great podcast - a great selection of stories and voiced by talented actors. 5 Stars for sure.

I have been tuning in for a while now. The way I listen is finish the newest episode then go back and listen from ep1 to catch up all the horror goodness. So far I finished over 200 episodes and I love every one.
LucienRElEN via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/20/21

I love the host! He tells great historical spooky stories at the beginning from different regions. Their stories are well curated too.

I stumbled upon this podcast and I have been binging nightly... great stories! Some of the cast from other podcasts like creepy, chilling tales for dark nights. Excellent.. must listen..

The horror podcast I can confidently recommend to just about everyone because it feels a little more “grown-up” than most other podcasts in the genre. It’s told me several unforgettable stories over the years that have settled deep in my bones and stayed there, and introduced me to some truly...Read full review »

Reid is great. More of that. Lalumiere is not. Not very creative and obnoxiously gratuitous with the vulgarities. Less of that.
kelbaby1 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/11/21
I started listening to Tales To Terrify, when searching for a new Horror podcast to listen to. I absolutely loved this one, generally I am just a curious listener/not really shaken by much...but into the third story I heard I was cynical of noises around me as well as anything that so much grazed...Read full review »
