Consider Me Terrified.
As a long time listener of the excellent Starship Sofa, I was surprised and delighted to see that it now has three sister publications: Tales to Terrify, Crime City Central and Protecting Project Pulp. Tales to Terrify is hosted by Larry Santoro, whose stories and narrations have been for me a consistent highlight of StarshipSofa. Despite the sci-fi name, the sofa has covered horror themes in a number of episodes and so this expansion feels very natural. 29 episodes in it’s clear that we are in for more of the same good stuff. Stories both classic and modern are covered here, kindly donated by some very excellent authors (I particularly enjoyed the Sand King by Gary McMahon). The audio quality of these productions is uniformly excellent considering all the different places and systems it’s sourced from, and it’s clearly a labour of love for all involved. If you have even passing interest in horror fiction, I advise you to give this a look.

The stories chosen are always imaginative and creative; and always give a great look into...Read full review »
