Renovation Story- Allentown Queen Anne
Listen now
Description
In this episode I'm joined by Stacey and Rick Forgensi, owners of a glorious Queen Anne house in Buffalo New York. This is their 5th house renovation and they have plenty of experience and wisdom to share. Have you been wondering how to remove bad smells from your house? Stacey can tell you how (it isn't easy). How many companies in the US make curved replacement glass? Listen and find out. About our guests: Rick is a retired electric utility engineer. He is the “guts” of the house and does all the behind the scenes stuff like replacing knob and tube wiring, plumbing, gas lines, etc. Does ALL the demo! He’s an avid woodworker and makes all our cabinetry and new woodwork. Stacey is a nurse anesthesiologist. The creative half-the finisher. Style is eclectic, loves mixing old with new. Passion for painting, has a love/hate relationship with stripping woodwork, and affectionately known as a floor whisperer to friends for ability to salvage old floors others would replace. All about saving and restoring old woodwork. instagram- @this_old_house_Allentown Thanks so much for being with us this week.  Please see the episode enhancement for this and other episodes at talkinghomerenovations.com Do you have feedback you would like to share?  Would you like to be a guest on the podcast?  Email me at [email protected] If you enjoyed this episode, please share it with your friends Don’t forget to subscribe to the show and get automatic updates every Wednesday morning with the latest episode of Talking Home Renovations with the House Maven.   Click here to get the episode enhancements sent directly to your inbox every week.
