Love the rise and demise episodes! Also an excellent episode on LIV. Would be great to have a show on the most influential clubs through the years.

For any history buff, these are awesome. For golf history buffs, these are even more compelling. It is great to listen to these, and then look at the company’s product across my office (staring at an old Hogan iron at this moment). Keep up the great work on all of the podcasts.

But as with most podcasts the hosts talk for too much, stack multiple questions, interrupt, use over the top hyperbole. They need to ask questions and then shut up! They are the interviewers not the interviewees.

A very enjoyable, at times lighthearted, but always interesting look at the history of this great game. Compelling listening for the serious golfer.

Absolutely love each episode - can honestly say there’s not one I don’t enjoy. I really liked the Golf Historian’s Guide to St Andrews (I’m heading to Scotland for 14 days in October and will be hitting each of the mentioned locations in this episode!). I also really enjoyed The Champion Who Lost...Read full review »

As an avid golfer for over 60 years, I am intrigued by the history, especially the equipment side. John Barba is an excellent historian. Might I suggest an episode regarding PowerBilt? They were big in the 40’s and 50’s that tried to mount a comeback in the 2000’s. I think this would be an...Read full review »

Always a great listen. So many great rare facts and stories that could easily be lost without this show. Also, such a cool way to keep it alive by bringing into podcast form. Love it!

I listened to your interview with author Kevin Robbins (The Last Stand of Payne Stewart). I don’t know anything about golf and don’t follow it, but this was an amazing episode about an amazing yet flawed person. Best quote: “I am Payne Stewart. You are Payne Stewart. Everyone is Payne Stewart.”...Read full review »

Connor Lewis brings interesting stories and people to the podcast, revealing so much more than the standard fare found in traditional golf magazines. Each podcast is well researched and well done!

I love this show. I would be perfect but for the SJW nonsense the show sometimes feels compelled to include. I have to turn it off when that happens. Case in point the rise and fall of golf in America podcast. You know what I’m saying.

A superb dive into different areas of golf history. Amazing stories covering different subjects from courses to people and quite rightly asking the questions that golf history deserves.

This is one of the best podcasts I have ever listened to! I have listened to every episode at least twice and I anxiously await every new show. The guests, the stories the history are just so unbelievable - but even more so this show makes history fun! Thomas

I’m a history major and have always loved history and at the age of 44 played golf for the first time and got hooked. I love this podcast and as soon as an episode appears I listen. My number 1 podcast.

Every sport has a background, but golfs historical roots are spectacular because it is one of class, respect, and honesty. The game as a whole is perfectly imperfect, and Conor does an amazing job of bringing the history to life. It honestly makes my day when I see a new episode is released
