An novella that was more neat tattoo ideas than horror
I wasn't familiar with Mr. Cooley's work before I had stumbled upon this novella. It's an interesting novella in that the narration seems so relaxed and calm. I had thought the narrator Mr. Coolie ate something that soothed his stomach before he had started speaking. Ah. As for the writing, I am not familiar with the world of tattoo artistry. But I had wondered how many artists could pull off giving someone an intricate tattoo for 40 bucks. Despite my own bit of confusion on that plot point, I had enjoyed the novella. It has some tattoo descriptions that were evocative and the ending did make me a bit nauseated. I think this podiobook is worth a listen to if you want to hear some ornate tattoo ideas. Thank you Paul Elard Cooley for this free novella!

Some of the characters are a bit one dimensional and he seems kinda fixated on peeing one’s self and dicks. But it was a cool look into the tattoo culture-or at least a very dark take on...Read full review »
