The hosts on this show find stories that are little known and so critical to understand the history of America, and how it was built on the enslavement of Africans and Indigenous people. I'm a professor of anthropology in Canada and have been learning a tremendous amount. This is historical thinking at its best, taking a complex subject when there’s little room in classrooms to understand the complexity, and asking us to slow down and think through a lot of myths and assumptions about the subject, but also about teaching the subject.
