Not as I hoped.
I believe that there is a strong psychological component to pain, and it’s good to hear the issue brought to a wider audience. But the calls with listeners I find deceptive. The hosts speak to dlstraught callers in soothing tones and inevitably within moments, the callers say they feel better. But it is natural for a caller, especially one wanting to believe in TMS, to lean toward telling the host what he wants to hear. There is an element of flim-flam or faith healing to these calls that does a disservice to Sarno and his work.

More reviews of Tell Me About Your Pain
Very helpful information presented in an easy- to- understand, relatable way. The episode on somatic tracking allowed me to shift my way of perceiving pain and let go of anxiety around it.
