I’ve been suffering from horrible back pain and radiating pain down my right leg for two years. A discectomy didn’t really solve the problem. This podcast was mind blowing in teaching me to address the pain from a different perspective. I’m in the process of doing the work — doesn’t seem like...Read full review »

Just listened to “how can I tell if my brain is causing my pain”. Host tells person and live audience that gardening and vacuuming are the same - both postures hunched over. Not true. Gardening is involves forceful, stabbing into earth with arms and legs. Activates big muscles. For those with...Read full review »

I stopped listening to this podcast after about four episodes because using what I learned, I was able to get rid of my pain. It feels like a miracle. I’ve been going to chiropractors and doing PT for a year to resolve terrible lower back pain that I was thinking I was gonna just have to deal...Read full review »

This podcast has been incredible in helping me learn to identify and effectively respond to neuroplastic symptoms. My symptoms, including pain, fatigue, and anxiety, have lessened as a result, and when I do have a flair up I can much more easily identify what is going on (my brain is on a rant),...Read full review »

Thank you so much! After listening to the pod I could heal my self from the pain and fatigue I had for 10 months. Visited doctors, therapists and therapeutics with no result, but this helped.

This podcast and their book “The Way Out” helped me completely resolve my nerve pain. I was in total despair for months, truly believing I was stuck like that and worried it would keep getting worse. Chronic pain is so ubiquitous. I’ve had mine since my early 20s and have now acquired a second one in my 50s which is limiting my daily mobility. Great podcast, but don’t join the Facebook group. It’s unfortunately been co-opted by toxic “moderators” playing as therapists and giving unhelpful and often condescending advice. Really a shame. However Alan Gordon’s book is well worth the read and made a big positive impact in my life.

I believe that there is a strong psychological component to pain, and it’s good to hear the issue brought to a wider audience. But the calls with listeners I find deceptive. The hosts speak to dlstraught callers in soothing tones and inevitably within moments, the callers say they feel better. ...Read full review »

Correct: “We too”. As in “we have too”. Incorrect: “us too”. You would not say “us too have published similar results”.
