A first time listener
I am new to the podcast and my first episode was Emily’s interview. I have to admit to experiencing a variety of emotions while listening-tears,laughter sadness and joy. Listening to you two speak about your moms made me wish my own mom had been able to see me run just one race before she passed. I started running in my late 30’a as a way to cope with the stress of a dysfunctional marriage. My family probably thought it was a phase- but here I am 20+ years later and still running ! (Without the marriage) I also appreciated when you both said losing your pet was almost as bad as losing your parent. I felt the same way but never wanted to speak that. ❤️ I look forward to listening to more episodes on my long runs as well as purchasing Emily’s book.

This podcast was a very pleasant surprise. I discovered it on accident and it quickly became one of my favorite podcasts. It's casual but informative. I love the slightly irreverent humor. Makes me laugh out loud!Read full review »
