A Life in the Mountains
This is a comment not just about the Bonnington episode but all the episodes. The selection of guests is great - not just sport or exploration adventurers but also farmers etc. The interviewer (Matt) knows how to be quiet, and asks great questions. He doesn’t allow the taciturn types to respond with superficial or trite answers (I’m thinking of Andrew Cotton). They sound like they are being put on the spot and they often say ‘Ive never really thought about that’ - this is good. Thanks for great entertainment! This podcast is about far more than adventure - it’s about how people choose to spend their short time and that most of them have actually and consciously made a choice. Cheers.

This has to be the most inspiring story I have ever heard. Gail tells her story generously and l will never moan about the hardships I have to deal with.
