Keeping Boxing Alive
As the fragmented boxing business failed to keep up with other growing sports, it grew into the niche sport it has become now. Boxing fell off the media's scope of mainstream coverage and now we're left with an occasional poor attempt at boxing analysis by part time fan, Skip on "First Take." Here though, is where the actual fans have taken arms in filling the gap left by the media in boxing coverage. Fans now have the opportunity to create a forum to express, analyze, dissemnate, and just talk about anything boxing related. The final result is what you listen to when you tune into "Tha Boxing Voice." Easily of the best podcasts on here. The hosts are smart, sometimes funny, and do what we all want to hear - they talk boxing! I agree with other reviewers - the open forum/line format is really what makes this show shine. The callers are great and it creates great dialogue. For all you fans that miss "The Boxing Truth" here is what you have been looking for.Read full review »
