“My anxiety was at its worst a few months ago. I just wanted something to make my symptoms go away. I was so afraid of going crazy or that I would die. I bought supplements, essential oils, would chew gum, and would run to splash my face with water or wash my hands any time I felt an attack coming on. I felt I needed a feel good show on or my husband near by to “save” me from my anxiety attacks. I’ve been practicing your do nothing approach and it’s been life changing. I remind myself that suddenly going crazy is just as likely as me turning into a platypus and it has helped symptoms be almost comical at times.
