Panic disorder, agoraphobia
As soon as I found out my father (my only parent) was going to die in a short while from end stage metastatic liver cancer, my whole world fell apart. I started having panic attacks which quickly went from weekly to daily to multiple times daily. They happened at work to start, then out for lunch with a friend, then while driving. Now I realize that I’m avoiding everything to avoid having a panic attack. It’s clear how quickly and silently this disorder can take over. I want my life back. I ordered the book, I’m taking my meds, I’m going to the places that scare me, I’m taking my life back. My family, my coworkers, my friends and I deserve that. Thank you for your guidance.
