“Joe,
Love your show.
You haven’t commented on climate. One of Vice President Biden’s big strengths in contrast to 45 is his bold vision of climate adaptation and equitable resource allocation that’s fiscally prudent and economically robust. Investments in climate can help the working class and rural communities get through the economic recovery together. Yet, framing the issue as climate still polarizes some middle of the road voters.
How can Vice President Biden and his running mate depoliticize environment so we can lead again on decarbonization? Should Vice President Biden travel to Bonn Germany (or Fiji, its sister country in climate resilience and co host if the 2017 United Nations 23rd Conference of Parties), to reaffirm the Paris accords in his first week as POTUS if elected? Will talking about these issues decrease Vice President Biden’s chance of beating 45 by alienating swing state voters?
