29. Rob Li: From Instagrammer To Private Chef For A B*llionaire In The Hamptons
Description
Rob Li wasn’t always obsessed with food, in fact, it wasn’t until he was almost twenty years old that he touched some of his parents’ basic kitchen appliances for the first time. But things changed quickly for Rob—after learning to cook basics like various proteins and rice, he focused on chef-driven techniques and recipes watched on YouTube and social media. While attending college he slowly built his skills and online Instagram portfolio with all of his culinary creations.
In this episode of That Was Delicious, we uncover Rob’s story in depth, including his simple beginnings and how he made the leap to private cheffing for a billionaire in the Hamptons. Additionally, together we discuss some of our favorite holiday dishes, culinary icons, and what we wish everyone would understand about cooking.
