“I adore this show, I wait for it every Tuesday, BUT recently it’s become a bit harder to listen to. I don’t skip the beginning where they gossip, I like hearing about their lives and careers, but I’ve noticed the tangents while recapping the episode have gotten longer and less relevant. Before, if the characters went somewhere on the show the hosts might share a story of going there or info on the place. Now it’s like “and she was wearing purple. Did I tell you I bought a purple dress? I’m going to a wedding and I bought this purple dress and my mom was like, that’s not for the wedding right? It’s not appropriate. But I told her it’s cocktail attire!” And the other host going “ok let me look up what cocktail attire is” and it goes on for a few minutes and then I’m so lost I forgot where we are in the episode I have to rewind and try to remember! This seems like a pretty professional operation (as far as production, I’m sure the hosts would joke they aren’t professionals 😂) so it seem so odd no one thinks to edit these asides out!”
