“If you want to hear some great insights into the industry--past or present--with humor and grace sprinkled in, then look no further. I believe her deconstructing of guests, poignant questions, and charm reveal an incredible look at career resiliency and motivation that perhaps the audience didn't know about one of their favorite show hosts or journalists.
Sarah is the epitome of what a broadcast journalist is and I am--as a dad to a young daughter--very inspired by Sarah's professionalism. I also can't forget Cassidy Hubbarth, Mina Kimes, Cari Champion, Holly Rowe, Linda Cohn, Hannah Storm, Elika Sadeghi and many others that have blazed a bright path for the future of young girls.
If you enjoy some of the other podcasts like NPR puts out, this is a mix between How I Built This and Fresh Air. Sarah has been cut from the Dan Le Batard school where she questions life's important matters and spotlights on issues that she doesn't mind diving into...and if sports are in the conversation that is just a proverbial cherry on top.
A few kinks to work out: the audio on some of these guests can be a hit or miss. I've turned off a few if I couldnt stand the sound/phone quality. More long term: I wonder what the ceiling is going to be?
Great listen. Keep going, Sarah!”Read full review »
