The Good, the Bad, and the Big Question
Good: Sarah Spain has superior interview skills, great sense of humor and a solid background on sports & pop culture (magical combination in these times.) Excellent fan base and connections. One of the best sports Twitter follows. Bad: Volume hard to hear some weeks. Best when I'm in car, but prefer downloading podcasts. Love Sarah, but needs to work on her self-proclaimed "Potty Mouth" to work her way up in ESPN. (Amuses ME, but realize not professional.) NOT a fan of Spainish Inquisition. Mundane questions and seen in other entertainment venues. Note: "That's What She Said" needs at least ONE female voice announcing the show! Duh. Shouldn't have to tell The Suits THAT. Big Question: HUGE talent here, so why is she relegated to a Podcast AND NOT HAVE HER OWN SHOW on ESPN? She's solid gold. Figure it out, ESPN before she strays to other networks!Read full review »

Sarah does an amazing job of asking such great in depth and probing questions in her interviews. I love the podcast, even if she’s a Cubs fan!

I first heard Sarah Spain on ESPNw's The Trifecta and have since made a point to tune into Around the Horn anytime she or Kate Fagan are on. The interviews on this podcast are great, insightful, and range outside of sports. If nothing else, listen to the episode with Richard Lapchick.Read full review »
