In this episode we found out a little-known fact one in every five courses in Scotland are made up of only nine holes. Going back generations, these short-form layouts were at the heart of villages and town, the lifeblood of the community where people could gather and enjoy a game for all levels of ability. It seems appropriate this trail would be called 'Honest & Short'. We also explore Scotland’s less obvious which are are those venues that perhaps sit in the shadow of siblings, go under the radar or lack the profile enjoyed by bigger names.
