Really enjoy listening to this podcast. Evokes many memories from the era, and is very well put together. Quality converstion, insight and banter from ex-players and journalists who were there to witness it all. Garry Naylor also a great host. So glad to see it return for a second series....thank...Read full review »

What a great chance to reminisce about some of the great and funniest times in cricket! And now it’s back for series two!!

Was delighted to see this return - a real gem for cricket fans of a certain vintage, reminiscence about some greats and some characters of the era, from erudite and amusing players and analysts. Thanks for bringing it back.

Has the show finished ? Big shame if it has . Would love an episode on the legendary West Indian fast bowler Sylvester Clarke .

Excellent podcast, fascinating to listen to many of the forgotten stories of turbulent tours. Please do more episodes. 1987 and 1996 World Cups would be good.

Brilliant and insightful podcast but was it only a limited edition ? Real shame if it is.

Love this podcast I like to hear about the 84 summer when the West Indies came to town. So many highlights Viv Richards 189 no in ODI, Chasing 344 to win a test and Malcon Marshall batting and taking wickets with a broken hand

I only happened upon this yesterday, and just I’ve lost most of my night’s sleep catching up with the first four episodes! I’ve long enjoyed your work, Gary, and it seems to me that you’ve found your niche with this, so the very best of luck with it. Great to hear Pat’s voice again,...Read full review »

Simply the best cricket pod out there for nostalgia & insight from the 80’s & 90’s. The subject matter is spot on & the guests always make a significant impact on each episode. If I only had one podcast to listen to for the rest of my life, it would be this one.

Great podcast, reliving how bad England were in the 80's and 90's, but highlighting the odd win which gave us all hope perhaps they really weren't that bad a side. Top array of different guests, nothing to not like about this podcast.Read full review »

A great balance: the right amount of humour and insight and reminiscence. Although this wasn’t a great era for English cricket there were so many talking points and this podcast allows you to take a warm nostalgic bath. Definitely worth a listen.

This is right up my alley - having grown up following cricket in the 80s and 90s - but this adds a layer to those memories of mine. The analysis is interesting - particularly from host Gary Naylor - and the rotating guests add their own recollections. Already a favourite podcast
