Not helpful
This is the first podcast I’ve listened to having anything to do with addiction or self help. I’ve been working towards easing my anxious mind with meditating and reading self help books based on science. I must say this podcast wasn’t helpful. The brief description had me quite looking forward to trying something new but the rambling stories about past lives and simplicity of saying “you just can’t handle it” was not what I expected. I am literally seeking help to rewire my basic minds expectations and expected practical suggestions from evidence based research. This guy just wanted to stroke his own ego and talk about the miracles he’s performed. Not a single nugget can I take away to practice through my day. Disappointing.

I come away from every episode with a new understanding of addictions that people live with and practical ways to help someone get the help they need. It is encouraging to know that there are such quality professionals out there!
