Let’s be fair
I am a Christian. I appreciate all that this podcast brings to the world of recovery. It’s excellent. The host is thoughtful The guests are interesting. One observation I have made is this: May I humbly submit that it seems all diverse viewpoints are considered, discussed, and given good coverage, EXCEPT the Judeo-Christian perspective. If we tout an “acceptance of diversity”, please let’s be fair to represent my perspective as well. I do not demand that you change your perspective, no matter what it is. I value diversity. With all due respect, please value mine, discuss mine (fairly), allow for mine. It sure would help me embrace this podcast with enthusiasm, instead of an asterisk. It would help me not feel even more “hidden” in my desire to recover.

Excellent podcast. Each episode is fascinating and you learn so much. Lovely host that knows when to interject and ask a question and when to just sit back. Really enjoy it, thank you.

I am very new to podcasts on addiction. Shelby John’s explanation on self-centred was spot on for me and has opened my eyes
