Eavesdropping On 2 Mental Health Professionals
I fully appreciate the effort in giving addicts resources to help them in addiction recovery. The podcast needs a producer to give the episodes some much needed guidance and polish. I’ve only listened to a handful of episodes but it seems like the podcasters friends or family made show appearances. Fine just build up their credibility first before revealing your personal link. Spend more time thinking about who your target audience and cater to them. You tee up the content, transition, introduce yourself again, ask them to introduce themselves, and then we essentially eavesdrop on a conversation between 2 mental health professionals. You use too many medical terms, ad nauseam, and you sound like you’re at a therapists love fest. It sounds like you are doing the podcast for medical professionals and not everyday people. Give your interviewees the questions ahead of time. Twice I’ve heard you ask your guest a question and theyve says “i don’t know what it means exactly...”. Why the hell should I keep listening to you then? Focus on what this podcast sounds like for your audience. Anticipate what questions we might have.
