Dr. M. Barta is Outstanding
I have listened to the Addicted Mind for a couple of years. While my addictions tend to be process oriented I always benefit from hearing the various experiences of the individuals on these podcasts. Dwayne is understanding and very empathetic. The realization that my addictions developed from the emotional abandonment of my childhood help me feel better about myself. Being sexual abused as a four year old boy caused me to feel as damaged goods. This is a secret I tried to carry for over sixty years of my life. Thank God for the Addicted Mind podcast as work through the healing process.

Duane has an a effortless skill to evoke stories out of people, the conversations flow due to this. It sounds like people have known each other for years and that’s a testament to his passion for the subject as well as skills as a podcaster!
