“Very disappointing. I subscribed for McGrath's always insightful and fair policy analysis. Paikin's softball interviews with politicians are just an amplifier for party spin. I'm not sure this is how a media organization can convince citizens of its critical role in a functioning democracy. The first episode of season 2 barely had McGrath in it, so was basically all political spin from Finance Minister and zero pushback from Paikin. Politicians are not celebrities and their personal background is irrelevant - what matters is how the decisions they make affect the lives of the citizens they serve.”Read full review »
