fair enough
i listened to the two strokes episodes and the ziggy stardust one. the guys spend too much time arguing over which song is their favourite rather than just talking about the song itself. wish theyd plan out what theyre going to talk about more instead of interrupting each other to say what they thooght they were doing next. interesting enough though, some good trivia and a few insights that made me notice something new, but i did consider putting something else on maybe a few too many times.

More reviews of The Album Club
Album review podcasts are ten a penny these days but I stumbled across this one about a year or so ago and it’s become my favourite by some distance. Cool, in-depth, laid back discussion with 3 clearly knowledgable music nerds (can identify).

These guys do a solid job. The format is great and their range of knowledge is impressive. Nice to hear the perspective from guys aged 35-40 describe how albums came to be. They even take requests if there's a crowdswell. They've gotten me through a few boring long drives.Read full review »

Ben, Andrew, and Alex deliver a breezy yet super informative album/band retrospective that's a welcome reprieve from the pretentiousness of many other music reviewers! I thought I knew the full story on quite a few of the albums they review but I always learn something new. Awesome stuff dudes!Read full review »
