I really loved listening to this podcast for a few weeks but after a while the non-stop talking over each other got too irritating. Really good content though. Great choice of albums and the guys really did their research!

I greatly enjoyed the first half or so of this deep dive into one of the most important albums of the 90s. But once it came to one of the hosts childishly proclaiming how much they "hate Nu Metal", even to the point where they would not digest and discuss Deftone's White Pony (how on...Read full review »

I love it. A few real music fans talking about what they like. Aussie to boot. Loved their PJ Harvey and Lemonheads episodes the most. They are on repeat 💕

A genuinely interesting podcast about a diverse range of classic albums by 3 very knowledgeable music nerds. The banter is funny and entertaining as well. Highly recommend 👍🏻

I’m sorry but no matter in what context you guys should not have said the n-word in episode 10. That’s very ignorant of this program.

Just loving this podcast - haven’t been listening to anything else since I found this a week ago. So good! It’s definitely to do with the album choices - lemonheads! Libertines! - but also the hosts, genuinely engaging, massive amounts of research, they’re clued up! It’s great! Just listened to...Read full review »

These guys are the best album discussions podcast. It’s fun, informative, dynamic and with their different personalities it makes you feel like you’re part of the discussion at the table! Keep it up!!

Three reviewers take requests from listeners, and research an album to receive their track by track analysis. Some great musical choices and some great insights, but .... waaayyy too flabby time-wise. Certainly lots better than your roommates’ bee essing for 2 hours about a record, but who...Read full review »

How can you do a pod on FNM and say who is Puffy? Wow! The Angel Dust pod only the third I’ve listened to so far. The Clash was good. Mark 52 Sydney

All good, but the Page Hamilton interview was annoying because the interviewer kept interrupting Page when he was in the middle of some great stories and insights. Guys, let him finish then ask your questions!!

Really enjoy taking a deep dive into my favourite albums with these guys, always informative and always entertaining. Please can you do an episode on the Manic street preachers - Holy bible?

Loved all the research you guys did. Will be checking out more episodes.

Tried listening to the Page Hamilton interview, the hosts audio levels are all different and everyone speaking over each other, may try another episode from pre-lockdown , but this is hard work to listen too, a shame as Page Hamilton is one of my favourite artists

I love this podcast, it feels like a couple mates just chatting about music they love, but it’s more than that too. They have great in-depth knowledge on the subjects the talk about making it very interesting. But please, I’m begging you, do WHATS THE STORY MORNING GLORY!!! I can’t wait for that...Read full review »

Great podcast, informative, entertaining and funny. Taught me stuff I didn’t know about some of my favourite albums and introduced me to a couple of new ones. The hosts genuine love of music really comes through.

Hi. Enjoyed the ep on JD. Manchester was not a third World City but post industrial, probably the first city in the world to be be so defined. You have to imagine acres of sooty red Victorian buildings, some of them still working factories most not. Terraced housing crumbling away and post war...Read full review »

Only just came across this pod after a recommendation and now starting to work my way through them - Helmet, Sonic Youth and Nine Inch Nails done so far. Love their knowledge (REAL music nerds), irreverence, passion, music tastes and the fact that they’re from Melbourne, even if I suspect most of...Read full review »

The guys love discussing music. Loose and messy and sometimes awkward when they disagree, but truly authentic and not slick at all. Heavy on 90’s indie rock, but those were their formative music years. Keep it up! Please do Jawbreaker’s 24 hr Revenge Therapy. Would love to hear you...Read full review »

Really enjoyed listening to the Joy Division and Stone Roses episodes. Psychocandy by The Jesus and Mary Chain would be good at some point - very influential album and they had an ‘interesting’ stage presence.

Fell into this podcast looking for Kinks stuff. Then into the Clash, London Calling. On the surface it’s just a few guys chatting, irreverently about music that you love and they have mixed feelings about. But along with that it is pretty in depth and knowledgable and they clearly love music and...Read full review »

Recently found your podcast and have immensely enjoyed a number of the bands you’ve delved into. Dig your blend of playfulness and no-nonsense in your coverage. Best podcast on air. 3 music dorks. Its like having mates over for drink but jeez they know their stuff. I’d have them all over for a beer. Have listened to Elvis Costello and Clash reviews in last couple of days and have to be honest I didn’t like it at first because I didn’t agree with a lot of the comment/analysis on This Year’s Model and there were one or two factual errors. However, I’m guessing that these guys are a bit...Read full review »

This show is a buried treasure. The back and forth banter between Alex and the rest of the boys makes for a good show. The sound of a cold beer being cracked open often takes place. Album review podcasts are ten a penny these days but I stumbled across this one about a year or so ago and it’s become my favourite by some distance. Cool, in-depth, laid back discussion with 3 clearly knowledgable music nerds (can identify).

I am a big music fan and thought I knew a lot about music but they blew me away. No ads and over an hour long but great content throughout. They are now back together with the original 3 members and doing great work. I especially enjoyed the recent Ramones podcast.
