“I greatly enjoyed the first half or so of this deep dive into one of the most important albums of the 90s. But once it came to one of the hosts childishly proclaiming how much they "hate Nu Metal", even to the point where they would not digest and discuss Deftone's White Pony (how on earth is that even remotely Nu Metal??), I switched off. Context is everything, and if you want to be seen as providing a considered, intelligent take on something, you must discuss it in the wider context from which is rises. Anything else is just infantile, and I think his co-hosts knew that as well. Will not be bothering with any more as there are way more objective, encompassing music podcasts out there.”Read full review »
