Essential Listening for Music Geeks who love LPs!
It’s 2 blokes, in the industry for the best part of 40 years talking about the albums they are familiar from the years 1967 to 2000 with in a single episode. That’s ijt Well, except 1977 which is a multi-part epic with more chapters than Star Wars. If (like me) you could spend hours talking about the merits & impact of artists & albums with like minded souls, then this is the podcast for you. You might even get turned onto albums you’ve never given a chance or possibly never heard of before. I have. And I thought I had an expansive knowledge!? It’s surprising that Wilson & Bowness had time to MAKE music in between listening sessions. Welcome to a world where you will become very familiar with ‘The Ham.’ Give it a go.

More reviews of The Album Years
Steven and Tim not only are a hoot to listen to, they know their stuff. I have never left a music podcast episode so inspired to go and listen to, literally, hundreds of albums! So far, I have been gripped episode to episode. I’m a super fan!

Tim, Steven, thank you both for this amazing podcast. In 1976 an Argentinean band called Invisible released a brilliant album called El Jardín de los Presentes. From my point of view is as good as all you mention in the podcast. You should hear it.
