Amazing story told in the right form by a great storyteller
This story is at the intersection of race, history, murder and politics that are still present today. The NE section of DC is still policed at a higher rate and the citizens are still feeling impact from past years. The storyteller does an amazing job of weaving present DC with the DC during this tragic event while giving full context to the miscues of the police department and media that lead to innocent young men being incarcerated. Highly recommend if you love murder and crime stories. If you are just moving to DC, it’s a great way to introduce yourself to its rich history.

This case blew me away. I’m really into true crime but hadn’t heard of it before the Alley. Shannon’s research is extremely thorough. I don’t want to give too much away. Just give it a listen if you’re a true crime aficionado. You won’t be disappointed.
